As President of Total-Western, Payman is responsible for the overall business success and strategic direction of the company. He has 15 years’ experience working in the Service and Construction industries and has held a leadership position for 10 of those years. With a focus on customer and employee satisfaction, Payman believes in a team atmosphere focused on Personal Accountability and doing what is right.

Payman earned a bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science, with a minor in Economics from Colorado School of Mines. He also earned his MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.

With more than 30 years’ experience in construction and operations management, Lou recently served as Senior Vice President at Aegion Corporation. He began his career in the field where he started as a planner and project manager, before working his way up to serve in more senior roles at Timec Company and Team Industrial. During this journey he led regional operations and oversaw transitions into double-breasted organizations, while also expanding their geographic footprints to serve more customers and developing apprenticeship programs to comply with state legislation.

Lou earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering and Business Administration from Oregon State University.

Annette Denny serves as the Business Manager for Total-Western. In 2005, she joined the accounting department as our staff accountant. Since then, she has held various roles in the company, working her way up from Project Controls Lead Administrator to Business Manager. In her current role, Annette oversees project reviews along with forecasting, AR, AP, billing, and managing office managers and supervisors across all Total-Western offices. Prior to joining Total-Western, Annette spent six years with Hilton Global Hospitality Company where she was responsible for forecasting, managing rates, and revenue management.

Annette earned her AA Degree in English from El Camino Community College and her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

As Vice President of Business Development, Reed is responsible for evolving our overall business development and marketing strategy, building the high-performing sales team of tomorrow, and growing the Total-Western customer base while expanding our vertical market presence into new markets.

Before joining Total-Western, Reed spent 12 years of his career at Johnson Controls (JCI). Reed began his career at JCI as an engineering sales account executive in Denver, where he earned their top sales recognition four out of eight years. These successes gave him the opportunity to travel to Australia where he spent three years leading the sales teams for Australia and New Zealand. After successfully growing the business down under, Reed was brought back to the U.S. where he led the construction sales teams for Johnson Controls for the Western U.S.

Reed earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky.

John brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries. John has been involved in the pursuit and execution of design-build projects, including FEED of over $6 billion across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He has worked for top ENR firms such as Bechtel, PCL, Michels, Teichert, and subsidiaries of Artera Services and the API Group. John is experienced in delivering a broad range of projects including heavy industrial, manufacturing, grid modernization & resiliency, solar, biofuel, aerospace, oil & gas, petrochemical, specialty waste recovery solutions, and water conveyance & treatment facilities. His experience across a myriad of alternative contract delivery methods such as progressive design-build, CMGC, CMAR, and target price/fixed fee will strengthen Total-Western’s industry position and provide customer opportunities to optimize funding and bring their projects to market sooner.

John earned his bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Administration and Technology from California State University as well as his graduate degree in Urban Planning from UCLA.

As Director of Engineering for Total-Western, Richard is responsible for leadership and management of the in-house engineering capabilities of the company. Richard has more than 40 years of experience in delivering high-impact design and engineering solutions to customers across a range of industries. From managing the work of contracted third-party engineering firms to self-performing a full engineering scope, Richard is passionate about delivering creative solutions that help customers’ businesses.

Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a licensed Civil Engineer.

Meggie previously worked at Swinerton Incorporated, an ENR-ranked national construction company, where she started as a Corporate Marketing Assistant and eventually worked her way up to PR Manager and then Director of Corporate Marketing. She was responsible for all brand, marketing, and communications for the Swinerton Family of Companies. While there, she managed seven direct reports, increased brand equity, and transformed the marketing and communications infrastructure and channels to scale with the growth of the organization.

Meggie earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Oscar is a results-driven CPA with experience in private industry and professional service firms. He has worked in numerous positions throughout his career, including Senior Associate, Senior Corporate Auditor, Finance Manager/Regional Controller, and Business Unit Controller & Corporate Manager, and for various companies – PricewaterhouseCoopers, Parsons Corporation, AECOM Corporation, and Tutor Perini Corporation. As Controller at Total-Western, he is responsible for overseeing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial activities and reporting, as well as leading the company’s annual budgeting process and providing forecasting to executive management.

Oscar earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at California State University, Northridge and is a licensed certified public accountant.

Jeanette brings with her more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources. Before joining Total-Western, Jeanette joined an underground wet utility subcontractor and was appointed the Chief Administrative Officer where she was a valued member of the organization for eight years, serving in several leadership roles that included the company’s Executive Leadership Team, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and many ESOP committees. While there, Jeanette spearheaded the creation of several employee development initiatives and field training programs.

Before that, Jeanette partnered with her family’s rebar company for several years where she gained extensive knowledge and experience in payroll, A/R, A/P, Human Resources, OSHA Safety Compliance, and the construction industry. Instead of pursuing her master’s degree in nursing after undergrad, she accepted an HR Manager position with a large temporary staffing company in Southern California. She was quickly promoted to Corporate Controller where she partnered closely with the CEO and led the finance, accounting, payroll, administration, and purchasing teams.

Jeanette earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Services from California State University, Long Beach.
